如何进行冰岛专利申请？
冰岛当前的专利制度由《专利法》（2007年），《工业品外观设计保护法》（2008年）和《职务发明法》组成。冰岛的专利类型分为两类：发明专利和外观设计专利，没有实用新型专利。 其中，发明专利的保护期为20年，医药产品和农用化学品的保护期可延长至25年。外观设计专利的保护期为自动保护5年，可以续展4次，每次5年，最长保护期限为25年。
在冰岛专利申请时所提交的材料可以用冰岛文，丹麦文，挪威文，瑞典文或英文，但其说明书，权利要求书，摘要和附图必须在公布前以冰岛文翻译提交。
一、冰岛专利申请审查制度
1.冰岛发明专利
冰岛发明专利申请的流程与中国的流程基本相同。主要申请流程为：专利申请，初步审查，早期公布，实质审查和专利授权。
冰岛专利局对冰岛专利申请文件进行形式审查和实质审查。实质审查主要审查新颖性和创造性。 并且自申请日起18个月后（有优先权的优先权日起），进行早期公布。在冰岛没有新颖性检索。申请人可以在优先权日起30个月内修改冰岛专利申请文件。
2.冰岛外观设计专利
冰岛专利申请文件包括：申请表，图片（照片或图纸均可）。在冰岛的外观设计申请为登记注册制。 申请人提交冰岛专利申请后，进行形式审查，同时也可以根据申请人的要求进行新颖性审查。符合要求时将进行登记注册，冰岛专利申请人可以在6个月内申请延期注册。
二、冰岛专利申请渠道
1.冰岛发明专利
在冰岛申请发明专利的方式分为以下两类，一共四种：
（1）PCT专利申请途径
①PCT申请指定国家；
②PCT指定EPO申请来指定国家。
（2）巴黎公约渠道
①指定国家；
②EPO申请指定国家。
2.冰岛外观设计专利
在冰岛申请外观设计专利的方式是《巴黎公约》渠道。
Iceland 's current patent system consists of ' Patent Law ' ( 2007 ), ' Industrial Design Protection Law ' ( 2008 ) and ' Job Invention Law '. Iceland ' s patents are divided into two categories : invention patents and design patents, no utility model patents. The protection period for invention patents is 20 years and for pharmaceutical products and agrochemicals can be extended to 25 years. The protection period of design patent is 5 years of automatic protection, which can be extended 4 times, 5 years each time, and the maximum protection period is 25 years.
Material submitted on an application for an Icelandic patent may be in Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or English, provided that the instructions, claims, summaries and drawings must be translated and submitted in Icelandic before publication.

1. Icelandic invention patents
Iceland patent application process is basically the same as China ' s process. The main application procedures are : patent application, preliminary review, early publication, substantive review and patent authorization.
The Icelandic Patent Office conducts formal and substantive examination of the Icelandic patent application documents. Substantive review mainly examines novelty and creativity. And 18 months after the application date ( the priority date with priority ), it was published early. There is no novelty search in Iceland. The applicant can modify the Icelandic patent application document within 30 months from the priority date.
2. Icelandic design patents
Icelandic patent application documents include : application form, pictures ( photos or drawings can be ). Applications for design in Iceland are registered. After the applicant submits an application for an Icelandic patent, it conducts a formal review and may also conduct a novelty review at the request of the applicant. Icelandic patent applicants can apply for extension registration within 6 months.
